How our loans work?
We provide installment loans which are paid according to a set schedule of payments, usually every two weeks or monthly depending on when you get paid. We offer the flexibility of choosing the number of payments to accommodate your financial situation. With each payment a portion goes toward the principal, thus paying down your loan as you make payments. The advantage of this method is it enables you to pay off the loan in manageable, fixed size payments. This differs from other loan products that may involve paying interest only or rolling your loan over without paying down the principal.
Once you have applied using our secure online application one of our customer service representatives will contact you to verify the information you submitted as well as to customize your loan. If approved you will receive the funds electronically in your bank account the next business day. You will be given a set schedule of payments so that you know from day 1 how much and when each payment is due until your loan is paid off. Everything is tranparent with absolutely no hidden fees.
The interest is amortized across the life of the loan with the early payments weighted more heavily toward interest, while the proportion of each installment that goes toward principal repayment increases with each successive payment. To reduce the cost of credit charged South Gate recommends you repay your loan in full early, rather than simply making your regularly scheduled minimum payments.

If the loan application is received and all information verified by 6:00 PM (EST), upon approval the money will generally be deposited into your bank account the following business day.
You will hear from us within one hour or sooner during normal business hours, M-F 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST), upon receiving and verifying your application. We will contact you with a loan offer or email you for missing information. If your application is submitted after normal business hours, we will contact you the following business day. We are closed on weekends and holidays.

You must wait three (3) business days. We may ask you to prove that the previous loan has been actually paid in full by providing us a bank statement showing proof of a non-pending payment.

Yes, you can! There is no penalty to pay off early and we encourage our customers to do so to save money. Simply contact us at least 2 business days before your payment is due and let us know to debit your account.
Yes, you have the right to cancel your obligations by faxing or emailing to us written notice of your intent to cancel by 5:00 pm Mountain Standard time of the next business day following the loan transaction without having to pay any finance charge.
